Buxwiz scam ?

Muita gente anda por aí a perguntar se o Buxwiz virou SCAM pois ficou fora do ar alguns dias . Eu desconfiei de algum problema com o servidor ou alguma atualização que deu em problema e eu estava certo . Hoje recebi um email do Buxwiz a falar que eles tiveram problemas com dados corrompidos e o servidor foi abaixo . Eles tiveram que reinstalar muitas coisas mas como os backups estavam em dia nada de mal aconteceu com as contas . Por isso não se preocupem pois o Buxwiz continua vivo e ainda vai dar muito dinheiro . Fica aqui o email que recebi mas penso que todos os membros também receberam .

Yesterday one of the system files got corrupted unexpectedly while doing some changes to the server. The whole server went down. We had to reinstall many stuff from the scratch. But luckily we have been taking frequent backups of the website right from the start. So there is nothing wrong with the website other than some “time” related bugs which will be solved soon.

I beleive you would have noticed that the error messages said “connection reset” and it was not a page load error which means that the server was still “on” though it wasnt serving any files. We apologize for what happened yesterday.

Its funny to see people making threads claiming us to be a scam when a normal downtime occurs. This can happen to any website out there, not just BuxWiz or not just PTCs. We didnt say we are “restoring” a backup which is over a month old and that you need to start right from the beginning.
